Summary :
Sung Jin-Woo, the world’s weakest hunter, has now become a C-rank hunter after defeating a Gatekeeper in a D-rank dungeon. He is now stronger than ever, but faces a new challenge: a mysterious organization known as the Hunters Guild. In Chapter 28, Jin-Woo is summoned to the Hunters Guild headquarters. The Guild leaders are interested in his sudden increase in strength and want to test his abilities. Jin-Woo is reluctant to comply, but is eventually talked into taking the test. The test is simple: Jin-Woo must defeat a category B monster. Jin-Woo accepts the challenge and is teleported to the dungeon, where the monster awaits him. The chapter opens with Jin-Woo being summoned to the Hunters Guild headquarters. He is greeted by Go Gun-Hee, the president of the Guild. Gun-Hee tells Jin-Woo that they are interested in his sudden increase in strength and want to test his abilities. Jin-Woo is reluctant to comply, but is eventually talked into taking the test. The test is simple: Jin-Woo must defeat a category B monster. Jin-Woo accepts the challenge and is teleported to the dungeon, where the monster awaits him. The monster is a powerful ogre, but Jin-Woo is now confident in his abilities. He uses his new skills and magic to easily defeat the ogre. The Guild leaders are impressed with Jin-Woo’s performance and offer him a position in the Guild. Jin-Woo declines the offer, but tells the Guild leaders that he will help them if they need it. He then leaves the Guild headquarters and continues his journey to become the strongest hunter in the world. Chapter 28 is a satisfying chapter of the Solo Leveling manga. It’s great to see Jin-Woo getting stronger and more confident. The battle between Jin-Woo and the B-category monster is also well-crafted and thrilling to watch. Overall, Chapter 28 is a great chapter in a great manga. Highly recommended for fans of action, adventure and fantasy.
